各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

Time has flown by, and the first half of 2024 has already passed. As we look back on these past six months, we have collectively experienced many challenges and opportunities. June was a month filled with diligence and hard work. Our school activities were abundant and vibrant, as teachers and students worked together to prepare for the coming second half of the year.

六月，我們再次舉辦了備受歡迎的幼稚園英語班和足球班，為小朋友們提供了更多的學習機會。其中，「德」樂融「容」課程尤其受到家長們的關注，該課程以SPARE TIME（Science、Physical Education、Art、English）為理念，旨在幫助幼兒園學生提前適應小學生活。藉此感謝老師們的辛勤付出，為學校發展出一分力。

In June, we once again organized the popular pre-school English and soccer classes, providing more learning opportunities for the kindergarden students. The " Carefree Time, Spare Just-in-time " curriculum was particularly well-received by parents. Based on the SPARE TIME (Science, Physical Education, Art, English) philosophy, this program aims to help kindergarten students better adapt to primary school life. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers for their tireless efforts and contributions to the school's development.

六月六日，教育局的鍾小姐到校了解學校的全方位輔導安排，並給予了我們高度評價。她認為我們的課程、計劃和活動既適宜又具有創意。此前，教育局學校發展支援組也對我們學校給予了高度評價，並邀請校長撰寫文章分享經驗(https://sss.edb.gov.hk/tc/sharing-corner/schools-sharing/14.html) 。這些認可讓我們倍感鼓舞，也堅定了我們繼續努力的決心。

On 6th June, Ms. Chung from the Education Bureau visited our school to understand our comprehensive guidance arrangements, and she highly praised our curriculum, plans, and activities as suitable and creative. Previously, the School Development Support Team from the Education Bureau had also given our school a glowing evaluation and invited the principal to write an article to share our experiences. (https://sss.edb.gov.hk/tc/sharing-corner/schools-sharing/14.html) These recognitions have been a great encouragement to us, strengthening our determination to continue our efforts.

六月十一日，我們舉行了家長教師會會議，並進行了第二十九屆表揚教師計劃的點票。陳楚欣老師和李鎮東老師榮獲表揚，他們的辛勤付出得到了家長們的認可。同日，我們還組織了一次非華語學生的本地遊活動，讓他們更深入地了解香港的生活文化。

On 11th June, we held a Parent-Teacher Association meeting and conducted the vote for the 29th Teacher Commendation Scheme. Ms. Chan Cho-yan and Mr. Lee Chun-tung were recognized for their dedicated work, earning the appreciation of parents and students. On the same day, we also organized a local tour activity for our non-Chinese speaking students, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's living culture.

六月十五日，我們再次安排了賣旗活動，這不僅是一次服務學習的機會，也是增進親子關係的好時機。

On 15th June, we arranged another flag-selling activity, which not only provided a service-learning opportunity but also a chance to strengthen parent-child relationships.

接下來的一周，我與傅主任帶領部分學生赴澳洲布里斯本參加遊學團，讓學生們親身體驗當地的生活和文化。這次遊學活動不僅豐富了學生們的視野，也讓他們更加珍惜自己的學習和生活。我特別為這個遊學團製作網頁，大家歡迎到這邊欣賞和留言。

In the following week, Ms. Fu and I led a group of students to participate in a study tour in Brisbane, Australia, allowing them to personally experience the local life and culture. This study tour not only broadened the students' horizons but also made them more appreciative of their own learning and living environment. I have created a dedicated webpage to showcase this study tour, and you are all welcome to visit.

與此同時，世界龍岡學校朱瑞蘭幼稚園和仁愛堂葉德海幼稚園的學生們來到我們學校參加小一適應課程，幫助他們更好地適應未來的小學生活。看到他們開心的笑臉，我們深感欣慰。

Meanwhile, students from LKWFS Chu Sui Lan Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten and the Yan Oi Tong Allan Yap Kindergarten came to our school to attend the Primary One Adaptation Program at our school, helping them better adapt to their future primary school life. Seeing their happy faces brought us great satisfaction.

六月二十八日，我們迎來了學校的成果分享日。這一年來，同學們在各類活動中付出了辛勤的汗水，他們的努力和成果在這一天得到了展示。我們為他們的多才多藝和精彩表演感到驕傲和自豪。

On 28th June, we celebrated our school's Student Showcase Day. Throughout the year, our students have put in tremendous effort in various activities, and their hard work and achievements were showcased on this day. We are proud and delighted to witness their multifaceted talents and impressive performances.

展望未來，我們將繼續努力，為學生們創造更多學習和發展的機會。讓我們攜手共進，為下半年的學習和生活做好準備！

Looking ahead, we will continue to strive and create more learning and development opportunities for our students. Let us work together to prepare for the second half of the year and the learning and life ahead!
